I was in for my annual health screening, labs, etc. Everyone at Lakeside Clinic is so nice and cordial! I've been a patient of Dr. Saylor's for quite some time. I might add that I owe my life to Dr. Saylor, as part of his "Heart Wise" program, he spotted a node on the left lobe of my thyroid! He immediately ordered needle biopsies, the results of which compelled his decision to remove my thyroid. Once pathological information was revealed, it was determined that I had MTC, where I was referred to a specialist at UAB. After another surgery, removing 12 lymph nodes, I've been cancer free for 6 years now! Had Dr. Saylor not spotted that suspicious node, I would not be here right now to type this for your reading pleasure. Dr. Saylor's just a country boy who can talk on a personal level and treat you at the same time. I'm a believer that he really does care for his patients!
